FAM’s mission is to enhance the mental health of women, teen girls, artists as well as entrepreneurs via self-esteem and self-worth building, utilizing creative and performance arts and entertainment.

FAM Entertainment Theater Company, NFP is a 501 c (3) non-profit theatre company, established in 2002 as an after school program. In 2016 after winning the Chicago Urban League’s business plan competition, we opened our multi-level black box theater company in the legendary Bronzeville neighborhood, located on the south side of Chicago.

We may be small but we pack a punch and have maintained our popular entertainment destination with the assistance of our wonderful board members, staff, community partners and volunteers.

We take pride in honoring our priority of service in the community, providing two-fold arts and education tools to improve life for those in need of encouragement.
